Without signing in

Everything stays on your device: the verses you saved, your notes, where you were reading, and your settings. Nothing about you is sent anywhere. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes it.

If you sign in with your Dixith account

Signing in is only so that your saved verses and notes appear on your other devices. We then keep:

• your email address, to sign you in;
• for each verse you marked, whether it is saved and the note you wrote, with the time it last changed.

It is kept on dixith.com's own server. No IP address is written anywhere, nothing is shared or sold, and your notes are seen by no one but you.

Deleting it

In the app, open More, then your account. "Delete my Soundarya Lahari data" removes this app's saved verses and notes from the server at once. "Delete my whole Dixith account" removes the account and the data of every Dixith app.

The Android app

The app from Google Play is this same app in its own window. It asks for no permissions beyond the internet, and everything above applies to it in the same way.
